Sports Performance Training LMH Therapy Services offers customized Sports Performance Training for youth athletes ages 8-18. Our program is led by medically-trained Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists (CSCS), Certified Athletic Trainers (ATC) and exercise physiologists. It offers age-appropriate, sport-specific athletic training designed to improve speed, strength and agility while also lowering the risk of athletic injury. Individual, small group and team training is available. Our programs incorporate proven methods for developing functional strength, balance, coordination, footwork, flexibility and proper athletic posture. Athletes train in a fun and positive fitness environment that encourages correct techniques and appropriate progression to higher levels of training. Individual Assessments by a Licensed Physical Therapist Exclusively at LMH Therapy Services, a licensed physical therapist (DPT) assesses each athlete before his or her training sessions begin. With advanced knowledge of the body and how it moves, a DPT evaluates each athlete’s movements and techniques to customize a training program that aims to correct improper movements, reduce the risk of many common sports injuries and maximize physical development.
