Provided by YP.comJim Foote used to work on my guitars back in the 1981-1984 timeframe. I've since moved out of the area. At the time he seemed inexpensive even to my high-school-student-level income. I still have the instruments he worked on, and I'm still amazed at his precise craftsmanship. One job that particularly stands out for me was splitting the bridge saddle on an acoustic into three sections to adjust its intonation. The job involved routing three new channels in the ebony bridge mount, filling in the old channel and painting it. He perfectly matched the paint color with the wood so you can't, even to this day, see that it ever existed. Just phenomenal work, and a really down-to-earth guy!

Provided by YP.comWhen we speak of "The Guru" of guitars and amps it has to be Jim Foote. His knowledge and expertise are amazing. His concern to complete each repair or modification with correct and design and application is admirable. I have trusted my guitars and gear to him for years..... never a disappointment. Everything is done correctly and without shortcuts or excuses. You may have to wait awhile, but what he does is well-worth it. I honestly think there is nothing beyond his expertise and ability to fix it! Thank You, Jim, my friend and "Guru"!
