- Pediatric CareMeagan completed her Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Johns Hopkins University and received her Bachelors of Nursing from The Catholic University of America. She has over ten years of nursing experience with an emphasis in pediatrics and hematology/oncology. Meagan has worked at Children’s National Medical Center as well as children’s hospitals in both Phoenix and Los Angeles. She is originally from Prince George’s County and is excited to be a part of the MedPeds primary care team. Meagan has two wonderful children.
- Primary CareEvery year as part of our participation in the Maryland Primary Care Program (MDPCP), patients ages 18 and above who were seen from July - December last year may be sent a satisfaction survey sometime in February. If you receive this survey, please rest assured that it is legitimate and know that MedPeds providers greatly appreciate your taking the time to complete it as soon as possible. The survey may be completed by web or by mail.
- Family PracticeDr. Jalali received her medical degree from the University of Maryland Medical School. She completed her residency in Family Practice at San Jose Medical Center, affiliated with Stanford University in California and practiced in California for three years before moving east. She is Board Certified in Family Practice and has been practicing in Laurel since 1998.
- Emergency CareTHINK YOU MIGHT HAVE COVID-19? If you’re having difficulty breathing, call ahead before going to an emergency room. If you’re not having difficulty breathing, you may have COVID-19 or the flu or something else. You may feel really awful, have a fever, body aches, cough, and respiratory symptoms, or you may not feel sick at all. Call to schedule a SICK or telemedicine visit. Sick Visits are limited to certain hours of the day currently. We can do a Covid test during your sick visit if needed.
- ImmunizationsWe take our responsibility for your child’s health and the health of our staff, patients, and community very seriously. As a result, we require our patients have basic childhood immunizations to keep everyone safe. Unless a child is at high risk for serious complications from vaccines, MedPeds recommends all children be fully immunized according to CDC recommendations.
- Internal MedicineDr. Eaton received his medical degree and a Masters in Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at George Washington University Hospital and Pediatrics at Children's National Medical Center. Dr. Eaton started the MedPeds practice in Laurel in 1982. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. He and his wife are the proud parents of three children and proud grandparents of one grandchild.
