      General Info
      Founded in 1970, Westmoreland County Community College serves more than 6,000 full- and part-time students. The college s facility features a theater, art gallery, library, cafeteria, bookstore, gymnasium, fitness center and general classrooms. In addition, it operates science, multimedia technology, culinary arts, and computer and desktop publishing laboratories. Westmoreland County Community College offers over 55 associate degree, 10 diploma and 40 certificate programs. Its business and industry center features classrooms, laboratories, offices and training facilities for area employers. In addition, the college has athletic fields for baseball, softball and other sports activities. Located in Youngwood, Pa., the college has a staff of more than 400 employees.
