Upsells, closers, and undercoating. It would be the greatest dental experience If I didn't have to spend time with a salesperson disquised as a front desk receptionist, that takes you into the "closing room" and tries to see what add-ons I'd be willing to buy, or getting me to commit to paying more than retail for services that the insurance company limits. It's just uncomfortable and not expected or appreciated at my dentists office. I'd be more accepting if I was buying a car, carpeting, or a mattress because I expect that there. I still do not enjoy it but at least I am prepared for it. To their credit, the sales staff is well trained and always smiles and tries to deny they are selling but, come on. Whatever company they are paying to bump their profits has really built a system here.
