EXHIBITORS BEWARE! UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR RUNNING PROSTITUTION RING!
If you want to be involved with a company who is under investigation for running an escort agency than this is the company you are looking for!
I am an Air Force veteran and a current graduate student working on a degree in business. I am not some flaky model. I am a professional, I know my rights, and I do not allow the pigs of the modeling industry to disrespect me or put me in dangerous situations.
I would not do business with them as a trade show exhibitor and I will not longer be doing business with them as a model. I have worked with them for 3 years and during that time I have worked for a few big name successful companies who have had many complaints about their experience. I am a professional, so though I have been offered repeat work with many of these companies, I respectfully decline, as I uphold the conditions of the contract that I have signed with this modeling agency. Unfortunately, they do not do business with the same integrity.
As a model, I will not be doing business with them because they are not reliable and I have recently been thrown into a compromising situation. The last event that I worked with them, they collected pay on my behalf and did not relay it to me. I did not agree to conduct training in a hotel room and on day one of the show, when I respectfully refused to conduct training in a hotel room, this agency did nothing to back me up. It was their place as an agency to request that training be held in a professional environment. It is also the place of an agency to communicate with the client in situations like these. I was expected to do all of the communicating at the request of agent Shana Hagan. I followed her direction. When the client let me go, this company still collected pay on my behalf, but did not relay the payment to me and has refused to do so. This breaches the conditions of my contract.
On top of that, I was offered sort of a "silence" deal from the owner Christopher Hanna. I DID NOT ACCEPT!
The level of disrespect that Christopher Hanna treated me with is disgusting. He comes off as a grimy spoiled rich boy who has no regard for anyone but himself. While all of this was happening, it was clear to me that Shanna knew what was happening to me was wrong, but that she was being forced by the owner to enforce his greed.
