General Info
I am the Proud Owner of the Woobee KnitShop, a secure mail order business with products in my shop. Plus an accredited A+ member of BBB (Better Business Bureau). My trusted business was established in January 1990 in Albany County, Laramie Wyoming. I started my business as a walk in shop, selling yarn supplies patterns for knitting and Crochet plus did custom knitting and designing. In 1998 I converted my business to Mail Order only. Products that I carry are: The Full Line of Brown Sheep Yarns Cascade Yarn Skacel Yarn Addi Needles Jean Greenhowe Pattern Books Fiber Trend Patterns Peter Gregory Patterns. My store was created when I decided raising livestock was beyond my ability. Sense I had a passion for knitting and socializing, the yarn shop was perfect for me. I was able to get my yarn shop started by selling my cows and bull. Yarn is a lot easier to round up than the cows and it doesnt need to fed or watered but it still takes a lot of work to maintain, which I do myself. I have been around knitting and crochet all my life, Mother and Grandmother taught me to knit at the age of four, to keep me busy and quiet making scarfs. The quiet part didnt work, I was a chatter box. Reading pattern came later when I had my own four children and started knitted, baby garments, throws and sweaters. When I started my walk-in shop out here in the country, I did custom knitting, designing, repair sweater, plus taught knitting in the evenings. I slowly build my yarn, pattern and supplies through the years to where I now have over 3,000 products in stock. In 1998 I changed my walk country store into an e-commerce Mail Order Secure Website Store, still keeping products in stock. The mail order work well for me, it made it easier to care for my grandchildren at that time. Then when my husband and I moved my mother into our home to take care of her, due to she had cancer, I could be there for her for her needs. We were blessed to have her with us for 10 years, before she left us to teach others knitting and crocheting in heaven.
