- Traffic ViolationsPeople often give little thought to challenging traffic violations associated with speeding, running stop signs/red lights and other common motor vehicle violations. This is particularly true for those who make their living on the road, including commercial truck drivers and those with company cars.

Listed below are just a few charges which may result in harsh punishments...
- Embezzlement
- Drug CrimesDrug offenses are one of the most widely prosecuted crimes. The Pennsylvania criminal justice system is inundatedwith alleged drug offenders, and judges are trying to find ways to keep some drug offenders out of the overcrowded jails.

- ShopliftingIt is theft to keep property you know has been lost or mislaid by someone else. Under the law, you must take reasonable steps to return the property to its rightful owner. Receiving stolen property is also a type of theft: It is a crime to intentionally receive, keep or dispose of property that belongs to another person if you know or believe it has been stolen. Theft of services, another crime, happens when a person intentionally obtains services he knows he should pay for and uses deception or threat to do so; tampers with utility meters, transmission lines, cables, wires, cable TV systems, or other such devices; or uses other trickery to avoid paying for services. There are a number of other types of theft, including diverting funds designated for legal obligations, unauthorized use of an automobile, shoplifting, organized shoplifting, library theft, theft of trade secrets, theft of leased property and theft from a motor vehicle.
- Restraining OrderI wish I could give 10 stars! I was assaulted by my soon to be ex who scratched me to hell and pushed me down the stairs. I went for a restraining order against her and surprise she said I hit her, and I was subsequently charged with assault and harassment. David cared, talked me off the ledge, didn't over promise, but set me at ease. I was adamant not to take a plea (they would drop assault and give probation on harassment). David didn't push me one way or the other, but was completely supportive in my decision for a trial. He was amazing at trial, setting up my ex in lie after lie, destroying her credibility, and getting evidence admitted after hours of arguments from the state not to allow it. "Not guilty" on all counts was the verdict. Regarding finances, David is quite reasonable, even generous. The state didn't show up to the preliminary hearing and the charges were initially dismissed. When the state re-filed the charges David did not charge me a penny for the second hearing...I understand you could argue that either way, I was pleased I didn't have to. David is a stand up guy and great attorney. If you're reading this and don't retain his services allow me to say "told you so" now!

- ExtortionThe most common type of theft under Pennsylvania law is simple taking. This involves the unlawful taking, transfer or control of another person’s property. Theft by deception, on the other hand, happens when a person intentionally uses false impressions to obtain or withhold property, or prevents another person from getting information that would affect that person’s judgment in a financial transaction. It is theft by extortion, meanwhile, to obtain or withhold property by threatening to do any of the following: commit a crime; accuse someone of committing a crime; expose a secret that would subject someone to hatred, contempt or ridicule; take or withhold action as an official, or compel an official to take or withhold action; start or continue a strike, boycott or other collective action; provide information or testify, or withhold information or testimony; or inflict any other harm.

- Property DamageInvolved in an accident that injures someone or causes property damage may be subject to the high BAC penalties (Tier 2) even if their BAC is not in the highest category (Tier 3). Offenders who refuse breath or chemical testing may be subject to the highest BAC penalties (Tier 3).
- Personal InjuryThere are many different types of lawyers; there are general practitioners, family lawyers, personal injury lawyers, and every other kind of lawyer. Unfortunately, too many non-criminal defense attorneys are willing to handle DUI cases. This could be a serious detriment to you.
