- Medical Weight LossInternists are specialists who apply scientific knowledge and clinical expertise to the diagnosis, treatment, and compassionate care of adults across the spectrum from health to complex illness. They are primary care doctors as well who see adults for preventive care and general health maintenance, screening, and management of acute and chronic illnesses. The scope of illnesses treated in internal medicine is very broad and includes; high blood pressure (hypertension), high cholesterol, cancer screening, new symptom workup, blood tests, diabetes, acid reflux, pneumonia, colds and flu, GI symptoms, weight management, most common infections and injuries, physical exams, and patient health education.
- Pediatric Care
- Primary CareI still practice in a "traditional" internal medicine setting, which means that your primary care medical needs will be taken care of both during the office visit, and if you need to be admitted to the hospital; thus providing a smooth transition to and from the hospital. In addition, I am the Medical Director of Heartland nursing home in Moline, where I still see my patients. I take pride in providing this type of comprehensive care, since very few primary care doctors still do that. I work closely with six other knowledgeable internal medicine doctors, and together we have over 75 years experience.

- ElectrocardiogramA prime reason physicians join together in a multi-specialty group is to be able to offer a vast array of diagnostic services. To this end, we offer in-house laboratory, x-ray, digital mammography, bone density, EKG, ultrasound, pulmonary function tests, and holter monitoring. We welcome new patient inquiries at (309)779-4325 and please contact us for more information.

- GynecologyDianne’s loss to the community will be felt for a long time, but patient care will not suffer. The remaining five OB-Gyn providers at Medical Arts have opened their schedules. Patients with future appointments are being called to assure the continuity of her compassionate care.
- ObstetricsI am originally from the Rock Island/Moline area. I attended Alleman High School and then continued on to Augustana College. During that time I worked for Hinzman Construction as a laborer and became well acquainted with all aspects of the construction industry. After graduating college I attended Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, where I developed a passion for Obstetrics and Gynecology. I completed my residency at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in OB/GYN. I am excited to be back in my hometown to serve the Quad Cities area. My wife, Laura, and I enjoy the outdoors. In our spare time we love fishing, cycling, skiing and traveling.

- Internal MedicineMedicine was my passion from an early stage of my life, and that's why I enjoy practicing it every day. I have over 15 years of experience as an internal medicine doctor. During the past years I have practiced in a variety of clinical settings ranging from inner city (during my residency in Chicago and when I was part of a clinic in Cincinnati, Ohio) to the most rural area (when I worked in Kentucky), and everything in between.

- LesionsI love my job. I work with excellent staff and patients. Our Dermatology Department's nursing and office staff and our three dermatology providers form a great healthcare team and work environment. I also love being a doctor and dermatologist. I get satisfaction from treating skin lesions and disease, as well as explaining to my patients the underlying causes or mechanisms of disease and the treatments. I also especially enjoy skin surgery and the challenges of treating complex skin cancers.

- General PodiatryI love what I do and love taking care of my patients. Nothing makes me happier than when a patient can walk out of my office pain-free. With the extensive surgical and clinical training that I have had, my goal is to provide my patients with the most up-to-date and progressive treatment possible for their foot and ankle needs. By using the knowledge and skills gained through my training and experience, I aim to be a highly-proficient surgeon and caregiver, a strong patient advocate, and a promoter of podiatric medicine in the community.
- Bunions ProblemsPodiatrists are medical specialists who help people with problems that affect their feet or lower legs. They can treat injuries as well as complications from ongoing health issues like diabetes. You might hear them called a foot doctor, podiatric physician or doctor of podiatric medicine. A podiatric surgeon is a podiatrist who has extensive post-graduate training in foot surgery. Podiatrists treat heel pain (plantar fasciitis), toenail fungus, ulcers, warts, bunions, hammertoes, gait abnormalities, diabetic foot care and sports injuries.
