I rarely read reviews, much less write them but in this case I feel it is important to warn you about this dealership. Ill try to keep it short and to the point. I bought a new Camry from Lakewood Toyota and in under 9,000 miles the transmission has broken down and needed to be replaced twice. What are the odds of this happening to two new transmissions? After the first failure and replacement I had unexplained warning lights coming on a month later and brought it in for a complete diagnostic check up. Lakewood Toyota once again assured me it was safe. The second time the transmission failed I was going down the NJ Turnpike and it almost resulted in a serious accident. My salesmen Jim O'Brien and the Managers there have responded to this with arrogance and indifference. The service department has been extremely helpful but I know what they are thinking but cannot say, this car is an obvious lemon. I don't trust it with my family riding in it and never will. I had hoped Lakewood Toyota would do whats right but so far they only care about their bottom line. I hope to God it doesn't take me or my family getting seriously injured or worse before this dealership or Toyota does the right thing.....
