      Luis Rivera-Gonzalez, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, helps clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, family and relational issues and helps patient with stress management. He also works with those struggling with ADHD, oppositional behavior, and adjustment disorders among other problems. How long have you worked in your field?I have been in the mental health field for 20 years working with diverse populations on different clinical settings. What is your patient care philosophy?My therapeutic philosophy is simple, to provide excellent and client-center treatment in a safe environment and treat each client in the manner that they want to be treated. I believe everyone has the capacity for growth and change when given an empathetic, accepting environment to do so. What would you like people to know about you as a care provider?My goal is to help clients grow from their struggles, heal from their pain, and move forward to where they want to be in life. I have a non-directive approach that is meant to be collaborative, empathetic, and honest. Why did you decide to become a licensed clinical social worker?I knew since young age that I want to help people. What do you enjoy most about working with patients?I enjoy helping clients reach a place of healing and self-discovery.
