This place is a real gem. Louie Macks has terrific food at great prices. I've never had any of the service issues that others have mentioned, Ive been back many times and had nothing but great experiences. I highly recommend Louie Macks.

We had an outstanding meal at Louie Macks. There were 11 of us and 5 were kids under the age of 10 and it was a great experience. All the adults said it was one of their best meals ever. I personally had the Filet Mignon and it was absolutely delicious. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Wish I could remember our waitress's name - she was the best!

By far the best steakhouse in Polk County. The atmosphere is nice, service is good and the steaks as well as the seafood are delicious. Our favorite restaurant in town.

This was probably one of the BEST steaks I've had! The seafood soup is AWESOME!! There seems to be a seat avil everytime we go. We usually go Brandon, Tampa. You can't go to a decent place in Brandon on Fri or Sat nite w/o a 60 - 90 min wait & nobody does reserved saeting. Their call ahead is a joke. We've always been treated great at Louie Macks& yes you can make a reservation if you want!

With 3 people in the party 2 steaks were bad and 1 was ok. I blame the supplier for that problem. While this place comes across as being an upscale establishment some of its practices come across as very ordinary. There are many $1.00, $3.00 add ons for salads and extras which are told to you by the wait person (clearly written on the menu). Only 2 salad dressings were available. It was strange to see private parties mixed in with the main dining area and tables had white table cloths while the booths did not even have place mats. I am sure that with time they will correct some of these problems especially the quality of the meat. I honestly believe that Louie Mack's should decide which direction is best for them. Whether they should be a quality steak house or an upscale dining establishment serving good food. Right now ,they are neither.
