He has a passion for treating asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and sleep irregularities. What is your patient care philosophy?I want to make sure patients have the best quality of life as possible. What would you like people to know about you as a physician?I treat patients as family. Why did you decide to become a physician?I wanted to help people, improving their quality of life so they can have the best possible life. What do you enjoy most about working with patients?Getting to know them as people and understanding their situation. When did you know you wanted to be a doctor?I decided I wanted to be a doctor in high school. How does your work improve lives?I can improve quality of life by treating chronic diseases like COPD and asthma, allowingpatients to do more. I want to optimize lung function so patients can enjoy life better. What are some interesting facts about you?I come from Mauritius (an island in the Indian Ocean). Would you like to share about your family?I have three children. My son is 30 and my daughters are 25 and 27.
