      General Info
      John W. Robertson, MD, FACS, has been providing top-notch surgical care to Central Florida residents for over three decades. He is a board-certified general surgeon with advanced expertise in minimally invasive, robotic and single-incision surgeries, including laparoscopic anti-reflux surgery. After earning his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, he pursued his residency in general surgery and a fellowship in surgical research at the same school, where he capped his tenure as Chief Resident and also received a graduate degree in immunochemistry. An award-winning surgeon whose work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals, his areas of specialty range from anti-reflux, gastric and other gastrointestinal surgeries to breast, biliary, colon, hernia, spleen, thyroid and parathyroid surgeries.
