Dr. Richard Cottrell and Dr. Sharon Foertsch are not only skilled general dentists, but have each completed additional training in different areas of expertise. During his residency, Dr. Cottrell trained with an emphasis in oral surgery. Dr. Foertsch's residency training was as a prosthodontist. Together they make a fantastic team. One example where this team approach will benefit you is dental implants. Rather than being referred to an oral surgeon and then coming back for the prosthetic, you can have both procedures done within the same practice, with dentists who work well together. This prevents miscommunication errors. Our patients love coming to a practice where they don't have to keep getting referred elsewhere.
