The company supplies precision components to the automotive and trucking industries. It is one of the leading producers of valve guides in North America. Helio Precision Products is also one of the leaders in the production of drive shafts, pinion gears and spline shafts. Some of its customers include Caterpillar, John Deere, Eaton Corporation, Allison Transmission, Cummins Engine, Onan, DaimlerChrysler, General Motors, Haldex Barnes Hydraulics, Harley Davidson, Lyon France and Simpson Industries. The company is headquartered in Lake Bluff, Ill.
