Dr. Mehandi Haran specializes in pulmonary and critical care medicine. She focuses on the diagnosis, treatment and management of illnesses that affect respiration, the lungs and other organs that help you breathe. Dr. Haran earned a medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College in Delhi, India, and completed both her residency and a fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center/Department of Medicine in Brooklyn, N.Y. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is also board certified in pulmonary diseases. Dr. Haran is board-eligible in Critical Care Medicine. She is a member of the American Medical Association, Society of Critical Care Medicine and American College of Chest Physicians.
