This place is nothing like you have ever been in. The colonial house has been furnished to remain the same including all the service wear made of pewter. The staff are wonderful and everything tastes delicious. All proceeds go to their stated charity, so not only are you getting good food for a great price but you are helping others. My meal, which was a nice size salad with a large bowl of homemade chicken and dumpling soup and a huge half slice sandwich was $5 and i had to take some home because meal was so hearty. Did i mention that one of the co-owners makes all the bread? The last time i went, it was vegetable bread, cut in close to an inch thick slices. Definitely a place that i plan to go to time and time again.
