Caleo Bay is located in the beautiful Palm Desert community of La Quinta with beautiful views of the mountains and desert – offering specialized care for those with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. At Caleo Bay we understand how challenging caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s and other related dementias can be, and we are here to help. Caleo Bay is a JEA Senior Living community, experts in providing care and support to those living with or affected by the disease. Many of our residents and their loved ones come from the Palm Springs, Palm Desert and other surrounding communities. We are committed to recognizing and understand the unique and ever changing needs of persons with memory loss. Our program, Meaningful Moments, provides much needed feelings of safety and comfort to our residents by incorporating past routines and preferences established prior to the disease into their lives each day. Our staff receives initial and ongoing training to be the experts in addressing the diverse needs of our residents. We tailor a specialized nutrition program around the preferences and clinical needs of the resident. We do this by offering three nutritious meals and three substantial snacks per day. We are partners with you in providing care to your loved one and have programs specifically tailored to your needs as well. Feel free to join us at any of our support groups and educational presentations. Also ask us about our short term stay program.
