I specifically asked if this company was sending a staff repair person or a contractor - the man that answered the phone told me flat out that they don't use contractors. As you probably can guess, a contractor showed up. The price quoted was only for the service call diagnostics and I'm going to have to pay to get the repair man back to finish the job - another lie as I was told the initial price included everything but parts.The repairman was OK but, I'll never deal with this company again. Lying to your customers is not the way to retain them.

Be careful. We called and asked for the price for a service call to have the magnetic lock on the door of a Whirlpool Cabrio replaced. We asked for their hourly rate and service call rate, service call was $55 but they wouldn't disclose the hourly rate, they give a total price after they arrive at your house and will apply the $55 toward the total if you decide to have the repair done. We knew the part was $70 at numerous on-line parts sites and kept asking for a total price, They finally agreed to schedule an appointment but to have the technician call before they arrived. The tech called the next morning and said it would be $270, we cancelled the service call. They called back the next day and said they used sub-contractors, understood we didn't like the price the previous tech quoted us and would do the repair for $170. We declined since we had already ordered the part. When we did the repair it took 10 minutes, pop two clips to raise the lid and 4 screws and it was done.
