Ocean beach experience like nothing else

Torrey Pines is open every day (365), 8am to sunset. There is a parking fee for any car entering Torrey Pines State Reserve: $8, senior $7, disabled $4. The reserve covers 2000 acres of land with chaparral plants and the rare and elegant Torrey Pine trees. Pinus torreyana once covered a larger area but now grows only here and on Santa Rosa Island off the coast near Santa Barbara. There are 8 miles of trails and a visitor center. On the weekends and holidays you can catch a guided nature walk.

Plan a visit for a few hours to enjoy both the beauty and opportunity to relax.

General Info
Although this park is located within San Diego's city limits, it remains one of the wildest landscapes along the Southern California coast, with miles of unspoiled beaches, chaparral, elegant Torrey Pine trees and a lagoon vital to many species of migrating birds.Although this park is located within San Diego's city limits, it remains one of the wildest landscapes along the Southern California coast, with miles of unspoiled beaches, chaparral, elegant Torrey Pine trees and a lagoon vital to many species of migrating birds.
