Dr. Willie Mao has been serving the Glendale, Burbank, La Canada, La Crescenta, Sunland-Tujunga area since 1980. He is a licensed acupuncturist and neurophysiologist located La Cresenta area. For forth years, Dr. Willie Mao has been passionate about helping others with various acute and chronic illinesses with acupuncture and Chinese herbs. His training in both Traditional Chinese Medicine and doctorate training in Phsiology and Pain Management enable him to effectively diagnose and treat a varity of conditions that Western physicians have not been able to manage successfully. Dr. Mao specializes in treating a varity of acute and chronic diseaseses, such as sciatica and other pinched nerve conditions, back pain, arthritis, headaches, allergies, asthma, infertility, menstral disorders, TMJ, G-I problems, anxiety, sleep disorders, neuropathies, quit smoking and many other intractable conditions. Dr. Mao has a unique method and practice, using holistic approach from both Western and Chinese Medicines. He studied Traditional Chinese Medicine at China Medical University, received his Ph.D. in Physiology from North Carolina State University, and his post-doctoral Fellowship from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
