Whilst on a visit and closing on our home purchase we stayed in one of the homes managed by EFVH and the standard was well above our expectations (near perfect). We were so impressed with the speed of response and service provided we will be looking at them to manage our property.

I think everyone needs to remind that items will fail... they do at home!

I was looking for reviews on this company a while ago as I was in a really bad situation and needed some help. My reservation with another company, not Evergreen, had been cancelled and they had kept my money. I needed somewhere else for me and my family to stay and did not know what to do. I called Evergreen and got Philip, and quote honestly, he saved our vacation. He worked with me on the price, found us a great home, and gave me some sound advice on how to get some of my money back from the other company. He could not have been more helpful and really put himself out to help us. I have recommended many people to Evergreen since then and they have all been more than happy with both the service and the homes. They are always clean and well maintained, and if they do have any issues they are taken care of quickly and with no fuss. I don't understand why the reviewers below had a bad experience with this company because mine could not have been better. I remembered these reviews and thought I should at least try and put the record straight. I will definitely be back and so will the rest of my family.

I made a reservation in February for a property titled "High Hopes".

I received a message that said it was "CONFIRMED"

Today, 6 days before our trip, I learn that it is rented to another family for that week and now our 9 day complicated stay is a mess. I'm left scrambling at the last minute.

Don't rent from them.

A big part of their business system is automated and that led to the trouble with my reservation.

Apparantly, the automated part with the credit card never reached their system, so they have no record of it.

I was told- I should have known because I didn't get a credit card receipt. Reallly???

I see confirmed and I believe that unit is mine for the days I needed.

Contrary to the prior review, I stayed in an Evergreen home recently and had a lovely experience. The standard of the furnishings was extremely high and the home was very clean and well presented. We had a fabulous heated pool which my kids (4 & 7) enjoyed most days. I found Evergreen staff approachable and helpful, especially a very polite gentleman who was more than happy to come to the home to do a small maintenance job at our request. My family travel all around the country so won't be back in Florida for a while, but when we are we will definitely use EFVH again!

I'd advise them to never use this company. They have absolutely HORRIBLE customer service skills and our trip was made absolutely miserable by our experience we had when we rented a house from them. The pool heat never did get regulated, the so called game room needed some maintenance before it could even be used. The carpet in the house was stained, and there was pink mold in the bathrooms. GROSS!!! We were also accused of some damage when in all honesty the damage was already done before we arrived but because they "said" they inspected the house they said we caused it. What a nightmare vacation we had and because of this incident, we've gone from visiting Florida every couple of years, to never going back. Thank you EFVH for a very memorable Family vacation.
