General Info: My decision to become a physician came from my desire to integrate these three attributes: my love for the sciences, a desire to help others, and a passion to increase health literacy and outcomes in medically under-served communities. My philosophy of care is to spend a large amount of time during the patient visit on education and fostering a sense of increased health literacy. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and exploring diverse cultures through travel, theater and the culinary arts. Lastly, I enjoy keeping up with my physical fitness through outdoor running and resistance training.
