If I could leave zero stars I would. My boyfriend sustained a laceration on his hand and FastMed was the closest urgent care. Upon arrival we were uncomfortable as the building’s AC system was not working but seeing as no one else was waiting we thought service would be quick and being from out of area we didn’t want to drive around looking for somewhere else to go. I specifically asked the woman at the front desk “You can do sutures here, right?” and she told me “Yes, of course”!! That was not the case. After wasting nearly 40minutes of our time, they determined they did not have any solution to clean the wound therefore they refused to do anything with it. You are an urgent care facility! How do you not have basic necessary supplies but even worse how are your employees not aware such supplies are non-existent therefore wasting our time and delaying treatment further. We were stuffed into a CLOSED exam room where the floor ACs could not get any air and were literally dripping sweat as we waited until I opened the door and moved an AC vent towards the chairs we were sitting in. As we got ready to leave they said they wanted to administer the tetanus shot which we refused because we were already sweating, frustrated and looking up other places to go. The counter receptionist said we would be charged for the visit regardless because we still saw the provider. I told them there was no way we were paying for ZERO service and inconvenience and the provider AGREED! The provider told us she would make sure it went into the system for us to not be charged but I should have gotten that in writing because lo and behold today a bill arrived. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? This facility is a joke, I have been to a dozen veterinary clinics that were more professional with better service. If this bill isn’t dropped there will be legal action to follow as well as complaints to the IG at the Department of Health and Human Services that oversees billing.
