- Emergency CareIn the event of chest pain or extreme shortness of breath, proceed directly to the Emergency Room. The Emergency Room will, in turn, notify our office. Please call our office only after arrangements have been made for transport to the Emergency Room.
- ImmunizationsWe would encourage all Medical Oncology patients to be “up to date” with your COVID vaccines. You are considered up to date if you have received the COVID vaccine primary series and received the most recent booster dose recommended for you by the CDC. For adults, the most recent updated booster is the Pfizer-BioNTech updated booster injection for new variants. If you are moderately or severely immune-compromised, there are different recommendations for COVID vaccination. You should speak with your provider regarding this.
- ChemotherapyPlease refrain from wearing perfume, cologne, and other strongly scented products to our office. Patients receiving certain types of chemotherapy are very sensitive to smells; we make this request for the purpose of patient comfort.
