      Established in 1976, the Dickinson-Iron Technical Education Center offers technical education programs and services for more than 500 students in Kingsford, Mich. The center offers 2-year technical and 4-year bachelor s degree programs. It offers courses in the areas of automotive and welding technologies, graphic communications, building trades, health occupations, marketing and entrepreneurship. The Dickinson-Iron Technical Education Center operates automation, robotics, electronics and mechanical robotics clubs. The center serves students in Dickinson and Iron counties in Michigan. It offers a work-based learning program that focuses on developing work-related and employability skills. The Dickinson-Iron Technical Education Center is a part of the Dickinson-Iron Intermediate School District and is governed by the district s technical education department.
