They may have a decent home, but they are horrible to work with on actually trying to buy one of their homes. Turn and run away

My husband and I give Jeff Lackmeyer Homes the highest recommendation. The quality of workmanship, great vision and architectural style attracted us to his homes. The open floor plan and attention to detail is a must see. We consider Jeff a friend and highly recommend him to anyone that's looking to build there dream home.

I started following Jeff's work after I saw his houses on the Parade of Homes. The thing that makes the houses he builds very attractive to me is the energy efficiency aspect. He uses the spray foam insulation not just in the attic but in between the studs so all the exterior walls are sealed. My most recent electricity bill, dated mid May - mid June was $86. My water bill for the same time period was more than elec bill! Of course, things like vinyl windows are all standard features of his Energy Star rated homes.I believe you get a lot of value for your money with a Lackmeyer home. Extras that many home builders in the area do not include but are standard on Lackmeyer homes are, to name a few, enhanced landscaping with custom stone borders, gutters and drain pipes, metal post reinforced fence, crown molding throughout the house (except the two smallest bedrooms), garage door opener, lots of recessed lighting and light fixtures that are a 'step-up' from the standard package.The best thing for me about buying a Lackmeyer home is Jeff's customer service. As soon as you're his 'client', he wants you to happy with the quality of the workmanship in your home. He hires high quality subs, such as his Finish Carpenter, and if you are not satisfied the quality of work, he and his subs will do what ever it takes to make it 'right'. I had a door frame in a very prominent place--leading to kitchen from garage--that had been marred at some point in the construction process. I did no like the quality of the 'quick fix', so Jeff had his sub, Don Staggs, rip out the door frame and start all over. It is beautiful now and the first thing I see when entering my home from the garage.Jeff always calls you back within minutes if he's missed your call. And he knows who you are. I don't know if he's got a great head for names and numbers or he puts your name in his phone once you are a client, but in either case, he makes you feel well taken care of and is very responsive to all the big and little things that need tweaking during the first few months of owning a new home. His customer service is very high level. I highly recommend Jeff Lackmeyer Homes to anyone who is looking for great energy efficiency, lots of extras that give you real value for your investment, and great customer service from someone who cares in your ultimate satisfaction with your new home.

Jeff is a highly effective and motivated individual, who craves challenges on a daily basis. Jeff provided my wife and I with a home that met our needs and exceeded all our expectations in regards to quality, comfort and efficiency.
