      When my husband, family and I got PCS'd to Ft. Hood, we hade no idea there was no housing available to us when we arrived. We stayed in cheap motels the first couple of days, but we had our 2 cats with us, and I was 6 months pregnant, and since we drovoe here, all we had were the clothes, and things we could fit in our car. Luckily, we came across Mr. Browns Temporary Apartments, and it was exactly what we were looking for! Mr. Brown met us that same day, and we were living in our new temp housing that same day!! What a relief to be able to was our clothes in a washer and dryer, have a kitchen, and nice clean place to stay with our 2 furbabies. It was a little pricy, but it was WELL worth it! You have everything you need, except for food. We stayed their 1 1/2 months til the closing of our home! Thank you so much Mr. Brown for taking us in, when we had literally no where else to go! You are an angel!

      Rents temporary apartments and houses. Bad thing is, you can't bring your dog.

      We have always accepted fully house trained pets since 1996 at small $3.00 per day additional charge per pet (2 pet limit). However, we will not accept the breeds that are considered to be aggressive such as Pit Bulls for example.

      Brown's Temporary Apartments is a Veteran owned business serving the Fort Hood and Greater Killeen Community for over 19 years. Providing temporary housing, with free high speed internet, and fully equipped with everything you will need down to the knife and fork! This is a perfect alternative to motels & hotel suites. Discounts are available to all military (not on TDY). We have a 15 day minimum stay (on 2 bedroom units) and (30 day minimum on 3 bedroom units). We will accept most fully house trained domestic pets at a very reasonable additional charge. All listings are listed in Fort Hood's temporary lodging list and perfect for buying, building, selling or waiting for quarters and corporate professionals. Eight different apartment locations in Killeen and Harker Heights. Member of the Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce since 1996. Our 2 & 3 bedroom apartments and 3 bedroom houses range in square footage from 800 to 1800+ square feet with washer and dryer, pots, pans, dishes, extended cable TV, the works. We accept most major credit or debit cards, cash or verifiable checks for payment.
