Maui Wave Riders offered us the ideal initiation into the world of surfing. Ola, our instructor, was fantastic, and the reception staff displayed incredible hospitality, even looking after my phone while I hit the waves. The Kihei location provided forgiving waves, making it the perfect learning environment. They supply all the necessary gear, from rash guards to booties, and even sunscreen, so you don't need to worry about anything except your swimsuit. What's more, the morning lesson includes board and gear rental until 2:45 pm, giving us ample time to practice what we'd learned. And to top it off, we ended up with incredible photos of the day, thanks to Sam from No Ka Oi Maui. Our experience was simply amazing!
