Austin's has been here for a long while and has gone through several reincarnations. It's current incarnation is an attractive local watering hole. It has a beautiful area for Off Track Betting, if that is your fancy and the bar is quite charming. The restaurant, however, is most disappointing. While it is comfortable, and the prices are reasonable, the food never fails to disappoint. I don't know how a chef manages to ruin a hamburger (I have my theories), but they have never made me a hamburger that I thought approached the edible. The mozzarella sticks were microwaved and the other appetizers were also a bust. Go for a drink, but eat somewhere else!
