About Dr Main Dr Main is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon fellowship trained in Sports Medicine who specializes in complex shoulder and knee injuries After earning his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School, Dr Main completed his orthopaedic surgery residency and then a fellowship in sports medicine at the Center for Athletic Medicine, in affiliation with the University of Illinois He worked with the US Soccer Team, the Chicago Fire, and the DePaul Blue Demons as Team Physician He is currently a Team Physician for University of Wisconsin Parkside, Carthage College and The Freestyle Academy and cares for seven UFC veterans
