      Doula ~ Woman Servant The calling to serve women and children through providing loving care and support first began for Krisha when she was a young lady. Those close to her noticed that babies and children were naturally attracted to her and that she had the ability to calm and sooth them with little effort. Mothers in her family and community have always relied on her assistance and advice related to natural childbirth and child rearing such as birth planning, labor and birth assistance, lactation consulting, weening, sleep and health challenges. Krisha has enjoyed encouraging and empowering women for most of her life and with the support of her amazing family she has chosen to formalize her role as a Doula. Her dream is to dedicate her life to cultivating a Doula practice in the Arlington-Mansfield-DFW areas where she can serve as a guardian for women and babies rights to experience birth and life as it was intended- safe, respected, honored, as natural as possible, and without unnecessary intervention or trauma! Krisha's goals are to empower women to give birth naturally, to care for and support mothers through the life changing experience of natural childbirth, to protect and kindle the mother-child bond through breastfeeding assistance, and to help the mother through the transition into a new family dynamic with her partner.
