For Misty, it is important to help others. It is even more gratifying to know you are making a difference. She feels honored to work in healthcare, where she is able to connect on such a humane, personal level with people from all different walks of life, She enjoys working in family medicine because she loves being able to care for newborns just as much as a 90-year old patient. As a mother of two, she has a special interest in pediatrics and woman's health. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, running, boating and reading.I feel blessed being able to go to a job everyday where I have the opportunity to connect with people in their time of vulnerability. It is my goal to provide a trusting, team-based relationship with my patients so that they feel comfortable and secure.
