Our basement rec room had a leak where we had water damage that just kept getting worse last year. The room was finished and we didn't want to move too many things, including a large heavy pool table. We had several options to fix our wet basement from the local companies and decided to go with Great Lakes Waterproofing. One of the major reasons is one of their systems is applied on the outside of the foundation and we only needed to peel back some of the carpeting. We thought about a drain-tile system but the other company wouldn't guarantee that it would be 100% effective. It's been close to a year and several rainfalls and we're completely satisfied with the Great Lakes Job, it took them a few hours to install and we haven't had a problem
