A great place to hang out on weekend night when the band What's It 2 Ya is playing. Alotof fun is had by all who are in attendance. The do not play everyweekend 'tho, so call first to find out.

Bennucci's makes one mean pizza pie. Usually can't work up the nerve to go for a deep dish, but their thin crust is outstanding. Also, the mud pie is heavenly.

I have to say, im a server myself, and the service was horrible. However, the food made up for it. I had the Chicago Strip Steak, and it was the BEST steak I have ever had. I would love to give this restaurant a 5 star but the service brought it down a notch. I would still recommend it to my friends.

Typically while I am out of town on business I stick to your run-of-the-mill chain restaurants for something consistent and familiar. Fortunately, when I was in Kalamazoo I decided to try Bennucci's, which was conveniently across the street from my hotel. The food was phenomenal --on the strong recommendation of my server, I had the day's special, which was a full rack of ribs with two sides. Definitely impressive, particularly for a place that doesn't specialize in bbq.

This is a great restaurant, but I can't get past their luscious Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza. Order ahead because it takes nearly an hour to bake with 2 pounds of cheese and toppings of your choice. I've had their buffet, but I always come back for the Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza.
