On October 29th I went into the emergency room with severe stomach pain and bleeding. The bleeding was so bad I was soaking a tampon and an overnight pad within a minute! I informed them that I thought I was having a miscarriage. The blood was soaking through my jeans while I was told to wait. I was asked if I had insurance, when I said no the staff became a nightmare to deal with. When a Doctor finally arrived I was put through what I consider to be unneccesary testing. Then after all the testing, hours of my request for pain medicine and just a simple blanket were ignored the Doctor removed the dead fetus from me in the same room I had been waiting in for hours (which to me seems to be very unsterile) The nurse then placed the baby in a tube inches from my head for me and my mother to see. I had not requested to see the baby. I wasnt asked, she just placed it there while she cleaned everything up!
