I went into Alice's Pantry when I was waling around Jim Thorpe. It is a cute coffee and gourment food shop. I purchased a cup of coffee which was excellent. They also have cold drinks and frozen ones. They sell homemade baked goods such as cookies, bread and biscotti. In addition to the coffee, I also purchased some tea, pancake flour and syrup as well as a couple of bottles of barbecue sauce and imported jellies.The service was excellent and the owner was personable letting me know she appreciated my business. Of all the places that I purchased coffee during my three day visit, this place had the best. You should stop in to see it.The sitting area is quite comfortable with a number of tables and overstuffed chairs. The music is enjoyable and does not interefere with convesations.
