I saw Ryan for a consultation and I put a deposit down for him to do a tattoo for my daughter and I. I was up front that we wanted to schedule the appointment out a ways but it was very possible that we would want to do it sooner. He told us he would have a drawing in a few days but we still had nothing 3-4 WEEKS after the original consultation, and only after my daughter contacted him inquiring about it. The first design he drew was not what we imagined and did not have everything we requested in it. We had to have it redrawn 2 or 3 more times and each time the drawing was shown to us it seemed that he didn't listen at all to what we requested. There were significant differences in his drawing from what we had requested. We decided to go to someone else because he was not drawing what we requested. During this process we found out that the deposit was nonrefundable, which was NOT stated up front. If it had been we would have gone somewhere else to begin. I know many others that have never had to put a deposit for a drawing, let alone it not be refundable!

The tattoo artist was nice and cordial. Whenever I needed a break he gladly gave me one without hesitation. They are very clean and very sanitary. He explained the "after care" instructions well and gave me the answers I needed to any question I had. He knew and understood exactly what I meant when I tried to explain something to him. Being a controlled diabetic, tattooing is something that needs to be well thought out and well explained to any artist. (I even asked my diabetes doc before having it done!) Without a doubt, I'd say this is one of the best tattooing shops I've been too in central Missouri. Whenever I have the funding available I will be back for more ink from this fabulous shop!
