We have used Dr Stover for years to take care of our horses. He was very kind and caring His office help was outstanding. The anonymous that didn’t sign her name was very rudeness. I wouldn’t sign my name if I wrote a letter like that about anyone! The only reason we don’t use him anymore is because my husband passed and we had to sell the horses.

This guy is not someone you want to take your animal to. While on my way to another town, just "passing through" Jay on the way, I discovered a dog that had just been hit by a car. He was obviously in bad shape beforehand (stray...emaciated, etc.) but it was awful. I picked him up and stopped at the first vet's office I could, Dr. Stover's, in hopes that he would euthenize the animal for me. Instead, he did SURGERY on the stray dog, knowing he wasn't even my animal and the full situation, even went so far as to charge me for boarding the animal because I lived nowhere near Jay and couldn't pick him up for a week after the surgery! He then proceeded to harrass me about the bill, which came to almost $500, even sending me a threatening letter which I still have "just in case" this wacko decides to try to sue me. I will never pay the bill for the stray dog that I asked the man to euthenize in the first place! I've since heard several other "horror" stories about him...so beware!
