Day Treatment Program, located in Jamestown, N.Y., is one of the programs offered by The Resource Center, an organization that specializes in serving persons with disabilities and their families. It provides services for individuals suffering from developmental disabilities. The agency s services include independent living, nursing, nutrition, and occupational and physical therapies. Day Treatment Program also offers psychology, self-care, social work, speech pathology and therapeutic, prevocation and recreational services. The Resource Center, founded in 1959, has been serving people with disabilities, and also serves socially and economically disadvantaged people in Chautauqua County, N.Y. It is supported by various community-based and government agencies.
