Located in Ozone Park, N.Y., PS 063 Old South is part of the New York City Public school district. It serves students from grades kindergarten through five. It offers a wide range of programs, including music, drama and musicals, comedy productions, dance, multicultural fair, science fair, technology, stock market game, reading recovery and extended day enrichment programs. The school also offers various extracurricular activities, such as district-wide spelling bee, storytelling contest, fire prevention contest, Ezra Jack Keats bookmaking contest, Jump-A-Thon for American Heart Association, unified games, stock market games and Common Cents. It also collaborates with parents and Jamaica Hospital and provides health care coverage for children; library power and learning leaders programs. It also offers athletics and fitness programs, including public school athletics league and middle school sports programs.
