      New York City Industries for the Blind is a nonprofit company that was founded in 1995. It provides on-site employment opportunities to people who are blind and visually impaired in the Greater New York City metropolitan area. The company provides a variety of services, such as assembling, packaging, warehouse fulfillment and mail bags sorting. It has a military apparel division that employs more than 60 individuals and produces air force physical fitness and army combat uniform pants.
