My husband has a good time learning and playing guitar with his church. We like to hear him play his guitar during services.

Cowboy Earl and John are two fine folks. While I'm not an "official" student, I have been around them when they were teaching others. As a wannabe piano player (that would be me), Earl and John have provided me with tips that encourage me. Nice guys, professional, and caring. If you want to start from scratch, or if you were "forced" to take piano lessons as a kid and would like to resurrect your talents...you might want to check them out. Two thumbs up!

You never gain anything in the long run when you run down someone. Even if it were true ( and I'm sure it's not) what can you gain by trying to ruin someone's reputation. To me it makes the downer look a lot worse than the person she's downing. I've known Earl and his family for years and my son has been taking guitar lessons for several years from Earl Jones Music School. He loves it. He could stop because he knows how to play now (thanks to Earl) but he loves going there so much that he doesn't want to stop. Earl and his family to me are wonderful people. They run a professional business and they care deeply for their students. If you really want to learn to play an instrument Earl Jones Music is the place to go. His sons are great musicians also. I love to hear them all play. I'll pray that whoever this person is that has a grudge to grind will see that it just makes them look like the bad guy when you're running someone down. I try to stay away from evil.

Earl Jones is the best. Earl is honest, talented, patient, and has the gift of being able to teach music to those willing to learn.

I have taken guitar lessons for approximately 5 years with various instructors before I finally came to the Earl Jones School of Music early in 2016. I have learned more in 7 months than all of the prior years combined and my only regret is that I did not come to this school earlier. Earl Jones & his staff are professional in every aspect of their music instruction and touch virtually every kind of instrument in their scope of education. If you are a serious music student and want to learn, I would strongly recommend you contact the Earl Jones School or Music and explore your possibilities!

I personally have taken lessons from Earl Jones for quite sometime now and am thoroughly satisfied with the way I've grown to know my music like I do. But it's much more than just a music lesson, the atmosphere (though under some construction) is wonderful, family atmosphere but if you didn't know personally who the family was you'd think it was one huge family, students and all !! I would absolutely recommend Earl Jones Music to anyone at any age with just about any instrument.

I took lessons from Mr Earl Jones when I wasa teen-ager. The basics I learned from him are the same i use to this day. He is a fine musician who knows where his talent comes from. I would venture to say that the words from Stephen below are a personal attack and not a review of his services. If it takes that long to learn a song, maybe music is not the proper course. It is not the fault of the teacher or the system used. I would highly recommend Earl Jones music!

I can tell you one thing. Earl Jones is a man of integrity. I've known him a good portion of my 42 years on this earth. Earl Jones is a man who knows to Whom he answers. I have no doubt that his school of music training is of the utmost highest standards. My son will be five next year and I plan on having Earl teach him how to play the mandolin. I want my little boy to learn how to play with the same love of music that my granddaddy played with and I KNOW Earl Jones is the only one who can relate to my son the kind of heart my granddaddy had for music. I would dare say he is one of the best music teachers in the state.

I've been playing guitar for 13 years now and started from Mr Jones in 7th grade. He was an amazing teacher and truly knows how to get someone playing good music as fast as possible but also helped me develop tools to learn on my own. Years later I came back to him to help me develop my skills further for a month or two and even that has helped me tremendously. His family are great people and I wouldn't recommend taking guitar from anyone else. Couldn't disagree more with "Stephen N" - if you're stuck playing the same song for months, it might have more to do with YOU not practicing enough, and not the decades long established teacher across from you.
