Located in Jacksonville, Fla., the William M. Raines Senior High School has an enrollment of more than 1,500 students. The school offers advanced honors placement courses and specialty classes. It also offers safety net program that includes graduation initiative, leap forward and team up. The school consists of varied clubs and societies, such as beta, National Honors Society, television production and information technology. The school also operates environmental studies academy that prepares students for postsecondary education and careers. Its technology academy program offers courses in computer troubleshooting, Web development, computer electronics and computer networking. The William M. Raines Senior High School is a part of the Duval County s public school district that consists of more than 160 schools throughout the Jacksonville metropolitan area. The district is divided into four clusters and serves more than 130,000 students. It is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
