Due to Cha-Chas closing, I reluctantly tried this hybrid restaurant/shoe store for a quick lunch with a co-worker. If you want a warm smile and friendly service...KEEP OUT! I was one of two parties during lunch and the service was HORRIBLE! I was basically gazed and stared at during my lunch and we felt like we were keeping the servers from their personal conversations and their lunch! I appreciated the servers eating at a table next to me while serving my food! Another party walked in and apparently attended that place regularly as they rec'd additional salsa and some conversation from the staff. I had to flag down a server and ask for my salsa. The food was a tad salty but warmer than the servers! Dont ask for sweet tea because they dont have it as I was told 'Nope'! I should have known better but I wanted to try it since I work on the southside of town. If your looking for a Sombrero hat, leather boots, baseball cleats or mello yellow; stop in and enjoy the fine array of misc items that are overpriced. If your looking for a great mexican meal, keep driving and find Tequlias or La Napolara!! **The standing water in the parking lot that smelled like hot, wet trash should have a sign. Think I am kidding? Drive through their parking lot and roll down your window! Thats not chips and salsa you're smelling!
