Purchased a 4L60E on Thurs., delivered on time Saturday. Installed on Monday just to find out the case was cracked. Ken went above and beyond to honor their warranty and had another one back by Thursday. New Tranny is in, shifts fantastic, customer service and product deserves 5 stars. i have bought many transmissions from extreme overdrive and i love them. i am a ase mechanic and i do alot of trans work. they honor their warranty and can be very helpful on dos and donts when replacing a transmissions. they have helped me with several custom applications also like 5speed manual to automatic conversions or 3 speed auto to overdrive auto. bottom line is they do quality work, are very helpful, and honor their warranty. thanks again extreme overdrive, will be in touch soon!!!

The guys at Extreme Overdrive did a great job and I want to give them credit. I live in Georgia and called them per craigslist. I talked to the owner Scott he agreed to meet me part way to save some time for me. I gave it to him on wedesday. Scott assured me that he would have it done by the end of the week. Friday at lunch I picked it up at his shop. The guy is very friendly and knowledgeable. Installed the transmission today and it worked flawlessly. My car 66 Mustang Fastback is pushing 400 Hp and this transmission was built right. Everything worked just as promised can't wait to take it to the track! Top Notch service Scott gave me his Cell number and business card ibn case I had any questions. Honestly you don't get that kind of service these days. I have another and Transfer Case that he will be building for me next. I drove down from Valdosta and for the price 450.00 plus tax it just can't be beat Thanks Scott and Crew at Extreme Overdrive EXCELLENT JOB! See you again soon

Extreme Overdrive folks know their transmissions. Best of all, they stand behind their warranty and go the extra miles to make sure you are satisfied. They built a custom heavy duty Ford transmission for my classic truck, and helped me work through the challenges I faced putting a later model transmission in an early truck - these guys are great. I highly recommend them, especially if your job requires custom work.

Don't get me started on these guys! Quoted $650, charged me $1070. I was ready in 3 days but when I got it back it was DOA! I live in Lake City and payed a bud $300 to change it so I wouldn't have to tow it to J-ville. Ended up doing just that anyway. Now he says that his labor isn't part of the warranty! What?! Quoted (loosely) $250 to $300 to fix it if he didn't have to replace any parts. Seriously!?! It has now been there 4 weeks and I still getting smoke blown up my you know what. I checked the Florida BBB and did find Extreme Overdrive so I will be filing a complaint, I just want to get my truck back first. Oh, and I will be calling the person from the other post about the law suite. This is the worst people I have ever dealt with in my entire life!!!!

They ripped me off as well. I bought a rebuilt 4l60E from them and had to return 2 days later. Thing was garbage and they wanted to charge me for R and R and said it would take 4 to 7 days. Biggest rip off around.

We brought our 1999 Corvette to Extreme Overdrive and found them to be knowledgeable, responsive and reasonably priced. The transmission was rebuild with a 12 month warranty and the car is running better than ever. Thanks Ken and Scott!

This company is without a doubt the poorest mechanic service I have ever dealt with. The first time I put the car in for a transmission overhaul, they said aI needed a torque converter which put the price over $1500.00. When I got the car back, everything was exactly as it was when I put it in the shop. This was after them keeping it for 3 weeks. I put it back in the shop, and not it needed a solenoid block. They have had the car a week and still can't get it fixed and can't give me a time estimate to finish the car.

They rebuilt a transmission for me and it only took 3 days. They did all the labor and so forth. They built the transmission better then the original ! Also came standard with a 1 year unlimited mile warranty! I WOULD REFFER THESE GUYS TO ANYONE WITH TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS!
