Always loved the food but something has changed. My husband and I went for diner after coming home from 6 months in Florida for dinner. My turkey dinner that I ordered was cold from the gravy to the vegetables and potatoes. The gravy seemed it was just poured from the can. Turkey very tough. I really liked this place but this was a turn off.

I love the food . The restaurant is in a beautiful artistic manner. I also miss the blonde waitress. She was an excellent server. Yours truly, cad.

Horrible service. Nasty Staff. Food was gross. Waited over an hour to eat. Do not recommend this place.

I seldom express my dissatisfaction publicly, but this time required it. The service was very bad. I am always afraid to complain to people who handle my food. It took the server almost 30 minutes to take our order. Our food came out 45 minutes after we ordered and it was stone cold. There was only about 6 tables with people(now I know why). They over charged us $4.95 plus tax and we never got one soda(which we were also charged for) We will never go back!
What a disappointment. NJ is famous for it's Diner's. I have eaten at many throughout the state. The Jackson Diner had the worst food of any restaurant I have ever been in. (not just diners) The silverware was dirty and there was lipstick on two of the four glasses.
We had four meals that were all bad. My salad was served on a hot plate. I ordered a hamburger. It resembled the kind you find wrapped in foil after four or five hours under a heat lamp, dried, overcooked and tasteless. My wife had eggs that must have been powdered. I had better eggs in the military 45 years ago. For those of you who have ever been in the service, you know just how bad that is. My friend had chicken soup that tasted like it was made with dishwater, and that was not even luke warm but cold. We asked the management if there was a problem in the kitchen, they said everything was normal. Even the coffee was bad. It was cold and weak.
The service was not terrible, but mediocre at best. Our server was nice, but very slow.
I have been told since my visit that it is always bad.
I would not recommend this establishment. In fact I suggest you steer clear. I wish I had read a review about this place before I went.
