- Pediatric CareAmerican Academy of Pediatrics to allow our providers to monitor your child's growth and development and identify any physical or behavioral problems that may arise. During these visits, we ask age-appropriate questions about your child (things like eating habits, sleeping, and activity, for example) that will help us identify problems. We also perform a complete physical examination, age-appropriate vision and hearing screening, and certain laboratory procedures. Safety concerns specific to the child's age are discussed with the parent and child.

- AutismOur providers are well versed in the normal developmental behavioral changes seen throughout childhood and adolescence. Many times these problems, such as temper tantrums, are considered normal for age and usually easily managed. However, some behavioral problems or school concerns may suggest a more severe underlying problem. Our providers are knowledgeable in many areas including Autism, ADHD, school concerns, and adolescent related issues. We are able to evaluate/diagnose and treat many conditions and refer for further specific testing if necessary.

Our goal is to provide your child with the highest quality of care available and to optimize his/her health from birth through late adolescence. Our health care providers are experienced in all areas of Pediatric Medicine ranging from care of the sick newborn, asthma, developmental and growth problems, to behavioral issues such as ADHD. Our Nurse Practitioners have over 25 years of combined experience and provide all levels of care under the direct supervision of our physicians.
- Mental HealthSue has been a team member of Jackson Pediatric Associates since July 2002. She is married with 2 children, who play soccer year round. Sue’s family enjoys summers on the lake and traveling. Sue is also a certified Pediatric Primary Care Mental Health Specialist. She administers an in office COPE program for children “Creating Opportunities for Personal Empowerment”.
