      General Info
      CMS Enterprises is an independent power generation company in the United States. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of CMS Energy. The company has ownership interests in more than 10 energy generating plants. It owns and operates the Exeter Energy plant in Sterling in Connecticut, which is an over 30-megawatt, waste tire-fueled power facility that utilizes whole and shredded tires. Its Dearborn Industrial Generation plant is located in Michigan and offers steam for Ford Motor Company. The company also operates the Craven County Wood Energy Biomass plant, which is wood waste-fueled power facility that uses agricultural waste and brooder house poultry and cotton gin waste.
